Class action over a data incident on or about October 2, 2024, in which current and former customers' personal information -- names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, Social Security numbers, and health-related information -- was allegedly exposed.

Current and former customers who were sent notice by the Defendants and/or Globe Life Inc. stating that their Personal Information may have been exposed in the October 2, 2024 Data Incident.

Up to $5,000 for documented losses plus up to four hours of lost time at $18.00 per hour (up to $3,400,000 in total cash payments), and two years of Cyex Financial Shield Complete credit monitoring for all class members who do not opt out

In re American Income Life Ins. Co. and Globe Life Inc. Data Breach Litig., No. 6:25-cv-00262 (W.D. Tex.), resolves claims arising from a data incident on or about October 2, 2024. The defendants will provide up to $3,400,000 for cash payments to class members, covering reimbursement of up to $5,000 for documented losses and up to four hours of lost time at $18.00 per hour, and will pay for two years of Cyex Financial Shield Complete credit monitoring for all class members entitled to benefits. The claim deadline is October 19, 2026; the opt-out and objection deadline is November 16, 2026. The defendants deny the allegations.
