Background
A proposed class action settlement has been reached in Cox v. DOWL, LLC, Case No. 25-2-21532-6 SEA, pending in King County Superior Court (Washington). The lawsuit alleged that DOWL's job postings for open positions in Washington did not disclose wage scales or salary ranges and/or general descriptions of benefits and other compensation, as required by Washington law. DOWL denies all claims but agreed to a maximum settlement fund of $1,205,000. The settlement requires court approval at a Final Approval Hearing scheduled for September 11, 2026. The estimated payment per valid claim is $1,658.76.
