A data incident that took place in the summer of 2025 allegedly resulted in the potential unauthorized access to or acquisition of settlement class members' private information.

A class action settlement has been reached with Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies U.S.A., Inc. over a Data Incident that took place in the summer of 2025 and resulted in the potential unauthorized access to or acquisition of settlement class members' private information. The settlement class covers all U.S. residents whose private information was impacted by the incident that Fujifilm discovered in approximately September 2025, including everyone who received notice. The official settlement website states that all class members are eligible for two years of free credit monitoring from CyEx Identify Defense Complete, and may claim either out-of-pocket losses of up to $2,500.00 (with documentation, subject to pro rata adjustment) for losses incurred on or after September 4, 2025 through the Claim Deadline, or an alternative cash payment of $50.00. Claim Forms must be submitted or postmarked by November 25, 2026; enrollment instructions for credit monitoring will be available after the Court grants final approval.
