A proposed class action settlement has been reached in In re Sansone Group, LLC, Data Breach Litigation, pending in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri in St. Louis, over a targeted cyberattack on Sansone's computer systems that occurred in March 2025 and allegedly compromised class members' private information. Sansone denies that it did anything wrong and the Court has not decided who is right. According to the official settlement website and its FAQ, class members may claim a one-time $45.00 cash payment instead of any other payments, or reimbursement of documented out-of-pocket losses up to $3,500.00, plus credit monitoring with $1 million of financial fraud insurance. The opt-out and objection deadlines were September 28, 2026, the Claim Deadline is October 13, 2026, and the Final Approval Hearing is set for October 28, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Class Counsel will ask the Court to approve $170,000.00 in attorneys' fees and costs, plus $2,500.00 service awards for each class representative.
